What you can do with this free network? You can log in to your social media(Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), you can transfer your funds through net banking but here you are in danger. why? Because router you are using for free wi-fi gonna act like a bridge between the device and the internet. That is all the information you gonna enter like password, Username, card information goes through their network and they can make copies of that information to gain access to the services you are using. This type of attack is known as a man in the middle attack.

How Can We Avoid Such Attacks - 

It is very easy to avoid such attacks. how? suppose if you see open wi-fi, make sure it is safe and do not use the network to log in to social media or to transfer funds, for such activities you can use your private network.

How To Identify You Been Hacked Or Not?

  • You have received a bill for goods and services that you have not ordered. 
  • Goods or products appeared on your bank statement that you have not purchased.
  • Received letters regarding debts that are not yours.

You can block your card and need to place fraud report so they do not use your information for opening more accounts with your name.

How can we provide such type of attacks? check the URL every time before accessing the sites if it is not an official site, don't put any information over sides.
